The National Planning Policy Framework allows local authorities to identify buildings or structures that are of heritage significance. These can either be included on a Local List or can often be identified as part of the planning process. Local authorities must consider the impact of proposals on the significance of a non-designated heritage asset and have regard to any harm or loss that might arise. If you own or are looking to purchase a Locally Listed building (or a building that has been identified as a non-designated heritage asset) then we can prepare feasibility reports, liaise with local authorities and provide heritage statements to support your proposals.
