Application Type: Planning permission and listed building consent
Development Description: Internal alterations associated with use as a residential flat within a listed building.
Local Planning Authority: Westminster City Council

Fuller Long have recently worked on a project in Westminster involving the conversion of a basement unit into a residential flat. The site was located within the grade II listed Albert Hall Mansions in the Knightsbridge Conservation Area.

This project required both planning and heritage input to gain planning permission and listed building consent. Given the nature of the property, the proposed design was heritage led and required supporting documents including the heritage statement, planning statement, a sunlight report and a drainage report.

Fuller Long managed the entire process, including working with other professional consultancies in order to procure the supporting documents and submitting the application. Once the application had been validated, our team were able to liaise with the council and push the application through to a successful decision. Fuller Long have since worked to discharge a number of conditions associated with the permission.
